Arrest Made After Man Attacks and Strangles Woman at Miami Bus Stop

Police have reported an arrest in a disturbing incident that took place at a Miami bus stop, where a man beat and attempted to strangle a woman.

According to the police, the victim was waiting for a bus when the subject approached her from behind and began to strangle her with a shoelace. As the victim attempted to defend herself, the subject beat her repeatedly. A man stepped in to stop the attack, and the subject fled on foot.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and treated the victim on scene.

Officers patrolling the area located the suspect matching the description provided by the dispatcher.

Aaron K. Quinones, 27, was arrested and charged over the incident.

Police are interested in speaking with the man who stepped in to stop the attack, but he had already left the scene by the time they arrived.
