Kosher Room Reopens In Broward North Medical Center

How wonderful it is when our organizations come together!

On Monday, Young Israel of Deerfield Beach, Chabad of Lighthouse Point, Hatzalah and Healing Hearts came together for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Broward North Medical Center to celebrate the reopening of the Kosher Room.

This revitalized space now boasts brand new furniture, fresh food and snacks, tefillin, and a selection of Jewish books.

Jewish families visiting patients now have a serene place to find comfort and respite during their time at the hospital.
