Lubavitch Hebrew Academy Purchases New Campus As Enrollment Grows

by JewishMiami.info

Over the last several years Lubavitcher Hebrew Academy has experienced explosive growth, both in enrollment and our ongoing commitment to educational excellence. This necessitated more space for classrooms and outdoor play areas, and after years of searching, a second building has finally been found.

“With tremendous excitement we announce the purchase of our second campus, a 3 acre lot with a 30,000 sq. ft building located only two minutes away from the existing one,” the school wrote in an email to the parents. “The zoning, permitting and full-scale renovation will take approximately 18-24 months. Bez”H, we’ll be ready for the 26-27 school year!”

With school already bursting at the seems, the school made arrangements for the 24-25 school year, signing a lease on a former child care center only five minutes away.

“This extra space will provide much needed additional classrooms and more outdoor playing fields,” they wrote. “Expect a more conducive and comfortable learning environment and space for more individual attention.”

Additionally, as part of the expansion plan, the schools current campus, which has been in constant use for many years, will undergo a facelift and upgrade into a more modern and beautiful campus.

“We look forward to launching a full-scale Capital Campaign with many opportunities for LHA families, friends and supporters to get involved and help partner in this great effort,” they wrote. “We thank Hashem for bringing us this far and Bez”H for many more years to come, with the ultimate goal of making this world a home for Him!”
