Miami Marathon Coming This Sunday, See The Street Closures

The Life Time Miami Marathon & Half race will be taking place this Sunday, ushering in a competitive event that attracts people from across the world.

It also signals some rather terrible traffic in the area.

The thousands of participants will kick-off the marathon around 6:00am, with miles of streets becoming a runners paradise.

Marathon Schedule

Location: FTX Arena – 601 Biscayne Blvd.

• 6:30 a.m. Spectator bleachers open

Location: Bayfront Park – 301 Biscayne Blvd.

• 6:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Finish Fest post-race party

Location: Bayfront Park – 301 Biscayne Blvd.

• 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Post-race shuttle service back to Miami Beach Convention Center
• 10:30 a.m. Elite athlete awards ceremony

• 11:00 a.m.: Kids Run Miami / Miami Kids Mile start
