Orthodox Jew From North Miami Beach Nominated For A Nobel Peace Prize
Two Florida residents have been notified they have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Price for their work in innovating water to air technology. An orthodox Jewish Rabbi and a former Roman Catholic alter boy have teamed up to design and build atmospheric water generators which can make safe, cold, potable water from the condensation of humidity in a controlled process.
The serious drinking water crises around the world has destabilized entire countries by the lack of water. Forced migration is the result of the death and disease of people attempting to find water for their families, crops and livestock.
AWG allows water to be created at the point of need saving countless lives while reducing the impact of migrants in other societies.
Yehuda Kaploun from North Miami Beach and Edward Russo of Key West were surprised to learn the international recognition of this esteemed honor. “We are merely part of s global effort to reduce the impact of climate change which has dried up reservoirs, streams, and aquifers,” said Russo at his speech at the United Nations in 2021, Kaploun was quoted as saying “every person has a right to have clean healthy water and no farmer should worry about droughts.”
In 2019 the World Health Organization declared that the production and distribution of drinking water, electricity, and food should become decentralized. Recent advances in growing food called (vertical fields) and solar and wind power, have made this possible for food and energy, now, water can be made at the point of need without the requirements of a local source or intense infrastructure.
Russo who has spent his career as a worlds leading Environmental industry leader, and Kaploun a recognized national leader, were quoted as saying that “we are humbled by this nomination and look to redouble our efforts for the technology to create water at the point of need. We are grateful that those who nominated us understand that the future of the world depends on our ability to find solutions for the water crisis, and we are proud to represent all those figures who work to provide clean water for the world.”
