The Fooderie In Coral Springs Holds Grand Opening
by JewishMaimi.info
Fooderie Market, the new Kosher Supermarket in Coral Springs held its official Grand Opening on Wednesday, bringing a new range of Kosher options to South Florida.
The new Kosher Supermarket, a joint venture between Stefano’s Kosher, The Fooderie Markets, and Nutrition Smart, saw a steady flow of customers, well wishers and guests throughout the day Wednesday, with food sampling, wine tasting, face painting and more.
The highlight of the event was the official ribbon cutting celebration with The City of Coral Springs, Commissioner Joy Carter, State Representative Christine Hunschofsky, and the Representatives from State Rep. Dan Daley’s office, and Congressman Jared Moskowitz.
According to a statement from the store, the Coral Springs Fooderie Market plans be a “full-service kosher store, catering to all your kosher needs,” and as of yesterday, that is exactly what it is.
Located in The Shoppes of Heron Lakes Shopping plaza at 5651 Coral Ridge Drive, on the corner of Westview Drive and Coral Ridge Drive right off of the Sawgrass Expressway, the location previously housed a Nutrition Smart store with only a section set aside for kosher products.
Now, as the store officially opens, it will provide another much needed source of full service Kosher products to the Jewish communities of Broward and South Palm Beach counties.
The Fooderie Market currently has stores in Montreal and West Orange, NJ, and according to the statement, “can’t wait to bring its first-tier shopping experience to South Florida!”
“The new store will focus on offering unparalleled customer service and uncompromising quality,” the owners said. “All while providing every-day low pricing on the thousands of kosher products you already know and love.”
With plans for an on-site deli, high-end butcher department, sushi, and bakery, the store is being billed a “true one-stop shop” for all your kosher needs.
While its official launch included a complete produce section, frozen and refrigerated foods, dry goods and meat department, plan are still in the works for an on site kitchen to be added throughout the year. The hope is to have a “full Fooderie Experience” ready by late 2023.
“We appreciate your patience as we work on providing you with a finished product we can be proud of, and that you deserve,” they said. “We look forward to serving you very soon!”
