A three-year-old Jewish boy was airlifted to the hospital Friday afternoon after near drowning in a condo pool in Bay Harbor Islands.

Hatzalah volunteers rushed to the scene along the 1000 block of West Bay Harbor Drive around 4:30pm for the child after he was found in the pool and provided life saving resuscitation. In critical condition, he was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

Chopper video from the scene shows as the child was transferred from Hatzalah’s care to a Miami-Dade Rescue helicopter.

The child’s condition remains unknown at this time.
