Miami-Dade County Temporarily Suspends Transit Service As Hurricane Approaches

Miami-Dade County has suspended countywide transit services – including Metrobus, Metrorail, Metromover, and Special Transportation Services (STS) – beginning Wednesday, September 28 at 1:00am. Service will be suspended until further notice.

Due to Hurricane Ian, Brightline also modified train service on Wednesday, September 28 and suspended all Brightline+ services.

For resumption of service and schedule updates, Miami-Dade transit riders should sign up for alerts by visiting: miamidade.gov/alerts.
