The Miami-Dade Tax Collector Announces 4% Discount On Property Tax Bills Starting Tuesday, November 1
County homeowners will soon receive their personal property tax bills from the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector. Payments will be accepted beginning Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
Property owners are strongly encouraged to take advantage of early payment discounts by the respective monthly deadlines:
- 4% discount for all payments received by November 30, 2022
- 3% discount for all payments received by December 31, 2022
- 2% discount for all payments received by January 31, 2023
- 1% discount for all payments received by February 28, 2023
Payments can be made online by visiting https://county-taxes.net/fl-miamidade, by mail (post-marked accepted), and in-person at 200 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33128. All payments are due no later than March 31, 2023.
No fees apply for payments made via e-check using a bank account; credit card payments may be subject to processing fees. Property owners are responsible for paying their tax bill, although many opt to submit payments through their mortgage escrow account.
The Miami-Dade County Tax Collector encourages all property owners to review their tax bill and issue payment as promptly as they are able to obtain the maximum discount.
