2023, Hatzalah South Florida Year in Review

We are proud to report that 2023 has seen another year of tremendous growth for Hatzalah South Florida.

With your support and encouragement, we continue to expand our lifesaving network with newly purchased ambulances, cutting edge medical equipment, as well as adding over 50 new volunteer first responders to our membership roster.

In the past 12 months, HSF saw its highest call volume in our history, responding to over 6000 emergency calls for assistance in South Florida.

Of note, at the request of Governor DeSantis, HSF sent teams of first responders to Tampa, to provide medical standby for the flights of Americans trying to make their way back to South Florida after October 7th.

Also noteworthy, at the request of Magen David Adom (MDA) teams of Hatzalah paramedics from across the United States were deployed to Israel to provide much needed mutual aid and medical support. HSF was privileged to send several of our members to participate in and help lead this historic war-time effort.

And while we continue to experience historic growth, we humbly ask our loyal friends and supporters to recognize that these important achievements create a sizable impact on our operating budget.
