Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens Students Delegation at the International JewQ Shabbaton for Jewish Public School Students

This weekend has already developed to be an absolutely unforgettable one for some of the young families in our Hebrew School and community.

After working and studying diligently all year on their special JewQ extra curricular Judaic studies curriculum, three of our Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens Hebrew School students have been nominated to participate in the international JewQ finals Torah championship in Connecticut.

The weekend which will culminate in the live interactive JewQ final gameshow and the award ceremony also includes a special family weekend retreat where over 800 kids and their families are currently enjoying an exquisite program at the Armon Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut.

So far our young champions have already experienced a tour of the Chabad Headquarters in Brooklyn and the Jewish Childrens Museum, a giant breakfast experience as they got to know their bunkmates from across the world, and had a blast at the Nickelodeon Theme Park in The American Dream Mall.

The parents too, have been treated to their own simultaneous retreat out of the same hotel with famous guest speakers, a spiritual trip to the Rebbe’s resting place and exciting activities.

Shabbat is going to be an oasis in time. A display of true unity and inspiration as the entire hotel filled with Jewish families from around the world will keep Shabbat together with an action packed program in place for the parents and the kids!

The highlight will be on Sunday at the closing ceremony, with the live JewQ Championship Finals Game Show, a concert with Jewish singing sensation Joey Newcomb and the long awaited award ceremony.
